Environment:
The military has been using and developing many communication channels throughout history. And the list is only getting longer.
Challenge:
Military communications is comprised of many protocols and channels over several technologies. It is difficult to find an organization with varied and deep experience with implementing these vast number of projects required to make our military successful.
Solution:
TES has the experience and proven tools to implement most of the military communication protocols and environments.
Capabilities:
As part of our PEO Aviation support contract, TES has performed data analysis of the application of the Joint Variable Message Format (JVMF) to Army Aviation. We have also worked on several projects which involve implementation of Situation Awareness (SA) data feeds, processing and display of the data.
TES has extensive experience with the collection, manipulation, translation and management of data for enterprise level mission critical database processing, for mission critical and safety critical on aircraft bus messaging, and for over the air C4ISR messaging. TES also has specific experience working with CMT, MASINT and JVS technologies. Specifically, TES has worked with various ISR mapping solutions including software development and testing involving various COTS mapping software systems including FalconView v3.x and v4.x, ArcInfo/ArcGIS from ESRI which is part of the C/JMTK, MASINT and JVS, OpenMap for Collection Management Toolkit (CMT/BISRDM) testing, and Microsoft’s MapPoint for and in dash vehicle mapping system.
TES has radio experience with the following waveforms and radios:
DAMA SATCOM, DAMA IW Phase I/II SATCOM, HaveQuick, SINCGARS, VHFFM, UHF SATCOM, Link-16, SRW, WNW, MUOS, ARC-231, ARC-201D, ARC-220, ARC-210, ARC-186, and ARC-164, JTRS AMF SA, and ARC-231 MUOS/Crypto Mod radio;
operating on:
ATIC, CAAS, MCAP-II, VxWorks, LynxOS-178, and Integrity aviation platforms and real-time operating systems
while supporting:
US Army Aviation Mission Equipment Alt-Comms Common Software, US Army Joint Tactical Radio System Airborne Maritime Fixed (JTRS AMF) radio set, US Army NLOS-LS PAM, and US Army/Navy PM-UAS DoD Unmanned Control Segment (UCS) programs.
