Overview

TES provides solutions for systems that require highly reliable and safety and mission critical development and certification. Our certification expertise conforms to the rigorous demands of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DO-178B Levels A through C and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Secure Development and Testing Labs

Our main facility is located in beautiful Tucson, Arizona, where TES owns over 44,000 sf of office space and fully equipped secured laboratories. Our corporate office is located at 5620 N. Kolb Road, Ste # 160, Tucson, AZ 85750-1384. TES also owns a 20,000 sf secure facility located at 3431 E. Hemisphere Loop, Tucson, AZ 85706, housing fully equipped development and testing laboratories, with anti-static control and adherence to ESD management protocols.

TES Financial Health

TES is a privately held corporation. Each year, our financial statements have been fully audited by an independent accountant in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. These financial statements indicate a healthy and profitable corporation with steady revenue growth. Our accounting system has been audited by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and has been found to be in conformance with the requirements of generally accepted accounting practices, the Cost Accounting Standards Board, and the Federal Acquisition Regulations. We have also received routine audits from the State of Arizona, and the IRS. These audits have always concluded that our financial and accounting systems fully meet all operation compliance requirements.

Quality Management System

We are proud to be a certified Aerospace Standard AS9100 facility with a DCAA audited accounting system for government work. Our AS9100 certification, which includes ISO 9100:2000 certification, allows TES to provide quality services and products applicable to the development, maintenance, implementation, testing, validation and verification of embedded systems and information management applications.

Technical Staff

Tucson Embedded Systems currently employs over 100 engineers and technical staff.  TES has a large pool of software/system engineers with a variety of skill sets and tools to provide a full range of services for any customer from initial concept and analysis to prototype and product development. TES also stands ready to hire the most qualified individuals for additional full-time staff or call on special consultants or subcontractors who have worked successfully with TES on previous and current projects and are available as needed for short or long term assignments to technical programs.

• In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Inc. magazine has recognized our success, listing us in the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America.
• In 2006, we were honored as the Minority/Technology Company of the Year in Southern Arizona and one of the 50 companies to watch in Arizona by the Department of Commerce.
• We have won SBIR grants from various DoD agencies.
• We have worked since 2003 performing System and Software Engineering services for PEO Aviation and AMRDEC at Redstone Arsenal.
• We are partners with Industry, the DoD and the University of Arizona on research and development programs.
